Destiny defines our lives but we can fashion it ourselves, Mon Sept. 8, 2008

Monday September 8, 2008 Time 9:03

Have you ever though how much destiny plays in your life. We all have a destiny. You raise you kids, teach them right from wrong, they have the best of every thing, but they still don't turn out the way you wanted. When they become 21 the law says they are adults. So you tell them go out into the world and live their lives. But that is the beginning and not the end. Because they have no experience. Even though your kids will tell you Mom, Dad, don't worry I know what I am doing, they don't have a clue.

They don't know how cruel and scary the world is. Ever though experimentation is a normal part of growing up, it can be dangerous. They don't know being in the wrong place at the wrong time could get them killed, raped or they could go to jail. They only know that you have kept them safe. So what I am telling you is they don't really grow up until they get some experience under their belt. About 35 or 40 years of age. Some kids might grow up a little earlier and some a little later. So you never stop worrying about your kids.

I remember when my mom had cancer and before she died she said she was worried who was going to watch out for her children, and I was 50.

I am letting you know that once you bring a child into this world, worrying about them becomes your job forever.

Thank You
Carmen
